This year our club raised $35,193.00 from Christmas Toys, the Fruit Sale, Mint Sales, the New Car Raffle and the Pancake Days. We donated $28,486.00 to 19 different charities, the 2 largest being Christmas Toys and the Missouri Lions Eye Research Foundation. The club assets grew with the installation of the new Board Room in our building at 6th & Sycamore and with the purchase of lots 611 & 612 across the street from the building. It was a year to be proud of! Our new LIONS year, 2008-2009, begins July 1st. Our Installation Banquet is Thursday evening, June 26th, at the Benton Club. Brian Hopkins will be installed as the new President, Steve Lorenz will move up and become the 1st Vice President and Greg Leslie will start as our new 2nd Vice President.
